Tengram
David released 7 albums as Tengram on Duritone Records between 1994 and 2004. Tengram was a musical identity David performed under as a solo artist, using the Ebow, electric guitars, and various effects played through looping machines to create “soundscapes”. David also played acoustic guitars, bass guitars, and drum machines through the loopers, as well, to create layering effects at times.
Until 2002, all the music was created using analog guitar processors. However, on the final Tengram album of new music, Little Red Record (released in 2003), David experimented with a midi-guitar synthesizer (the Roland GR-33). (He would continue to use it on his next David Durian release, as well–2008′s over_tone.)
